FAQ

  • When is EarthFest 2019? – Saturday July 27th from 10am to 4pm, held on the grounds of the Segenhoe Inn in Aberdeen NSW.
  • Who can attend this event? – Anyone and everyone. EarthFest will showcase local artisans and food of the Hunter Valley and raise much needed funds for drought relief to help families who are suffering through these catastrophic conditions.
  • Can I volunteer for this event? – Absolutely, we are always looking for volunteers, just send us an email to info@earthfest.com.au
  • Will there be security at the event? – Yes we have partnered with the local RFS to ensure the event remains safe and friendly for everyone.
  • Will I need to bring cash? – Entry to the event is via Gold Coin Donation and whilst most vendor’s have eftpos we recommend you bring cash on the day, or the local pub is across the road for access to an ATM machine.
  • Will the event be cancelled if it rains? – Unfortunately we cannot predict what Mother Nature will do on the day, though we will welcome any rain at this time. But if it is deemed unsafe then the event will be cancelled. You can keep up to date via our Facebook page.
  • Will there be parking? – Parking is complimentary for everyone on the day and will be attended by the local RFS to help minimise frustrations, with easy access.
  • Will there be toilets? – There will be two blocks of toilets available for visitors to use on the day.
  • Will there be first-Aid? – The local Ambulance and RFS will be available at the festival if required to administer first-aid and will be located near the main entry.
  • Will there be live entertainment? – Yes there will be entertainment on the day from local musicians in an unplugged zone located near the rear of the Inn.
  • Are you allowed to bring pets? – Please keep you fur babies at home as it is not a pet zone. Guide dogs of course are welcome. Bikes and skateboards are also not permitted inside the festival.
